Here are some recaps of past events held prior to 2024. All of these events were similar to our current event template. That is, they are set up to help you make new friends with a group of fun strangers.
We partnered up with the Haphazard Sourdough Baker for this Sourdough Paint & Bake event in Spring of 2023. Using both natural dyes from food, as well as food-grade paints, we let our creativity loose on cooked and uncooked sourdough rolls. Lots of artistic talent in that room!
During this Girls’ Night event in Fall of 2021, we made tiramisu, mulled wine, and caramel apples together. We had a blast getting really sticky with caramel and learning the special mulled wine recipe from a local brewery.
Do you ever feel like you are so angry you just want to SMASH something? That’s exactly what we did during this Wild Woman SMASH! event in Fall of 2022. After doing a short meditation, we set our intentions for anger release, then we went outside and took out our aggressions on pumpkins, eggs, and other veggies! Truly one of the most fun days.
The Rock Painting party was hosted in the most peaceful backyard space. We walked through a meditation, wrote down what we wanted to let go of during our time together, and painted lots of rocks. At the end, we burned our paper to fully release what was no longer serving us. This event happened in the summer of 2022.
Bartender Frank Frey showed us how to make a few delicious alcohol-free drinks during the Mocktails event in early 2023. The group enjoyed using vinegar shrubs, bitters, and other fancy cocktail add-ons to create incredible mocktails.
We partnered up with Mash Mechanix Brewing Co. and Ignite Events for a pumpkin carving, beer drinking, axe throwing event called Gourds & Brews in Fall of 2022. Who says only kids can carve pumpkins?
