Our first Ladies’ Winter Hike was on January 13, 2024. We had a small and fun group to hike the Ute Trail in Gypsum. The weather was a little iffy, with colder temps and windchill, but once we started in, we were quite comfortable. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to mountain snow hikes, so I wasn’t entirely sure what gear I needed. Luckily, two of the ladies seemed to know their hiking gear and gave me some tips!
We hiked for about an hour this time and went 2 miles total. It was a really fun day of meeting new friends, getting exercise, and seeing some beautiful scenery in the snow.
