When I meditate with my Inner Child, she always has something unexpected to share, such as a needed change in my wardrobe. Yesterday, I was feeling kind of blah, so I decided to do the below meditation to see what my Inner Child felt was missing. She informed me that she was BORED! She wanted to play games and puzzles. What a surprise this was, but it totally made sense. The early dark of winter evenings has been dragging me down and I’ve been watching tv rather than using my brain.
After the meditation, I asked my good friend what recommendations she had fun childlike brain puzzle games, and she gave me a ton of ideas!! I promptly purchased them and am excited to start playing.
Are you wondering about your own Inner Child and what fun she wants you to have? Try out the meditation below! Please leave a comment or send me a message about your results. I love hearing your stories.
Here’s one response from someone who did the meditation: “The meditation was really good. The pace was good and your voice was perfect. It was a fun meditation for me, very playful. I was me at age 8. It was all about running and jumping and skipping and doing somersaults and dancing and being silly. It was fun and she was happy and smiling the whole time.” – L.
