The Being Brave Challenge – Week 6
When you are feeling strong and confident like a mountain, it’s a great time to do something out of your comfort zone.
For example, this Tuesday I was a panelist on a podcast episode talking about the topic of “joy and mindfulness”. It was something new for me to do it, and I was certainly terrified, but it ended up being a good experience. Afterwards, I felt great about myself and a little bit braver.
For your own comfort zone challenge, pick something you’ve been wanting to do, but have made up excuses about not doing.
The key is that you haven’t done it before.
It could be as simple as joining us for the first time on a Ladies Hike (hint, hint – we have one tomorrow – see below), going to a crafting workshop, doing a workout class, exploring a new area by yourself, asking a new friend to hang out, volunteering, or even making and sharing a video. The opportunities are endless.
Take note after you did this activity of how you felt. Do you feel happier, braver, productive, or more knowledgeable? Was the activity worth it?
Paying attention to how you feel is a great way to get more in tune with yourself and what you truly enjoy.
As always, send me your stories about the challenge and how it went!
