This week I’m at a conference in North Carolina, so I thought I’d share some tools that help with maintaining your energy level when traveling.
If you are an introvert and/or sensitive to energy, you know traveling can get overwhelming, especially being around lots of people.
But first, I wanted to be sure that you saw this message. If you missed the Intro to Clairvoyance virtual workshop last week, you’re in luck. There is a recording of it!
The recording has a meditation, called a blind reading, that will guide you to see specific animals and their actions, which represent several messages for your life.
Participants of the workshop saw specific animals during the meditation such as:
- A squirrel sitting on a branch in an oak tree, eating an acorn
- A seagull soaring through the air
- A raccoon, peaking its head from behind a wall
- A whale swimming
- A moose in a meadow
- A lion cub playing
- A swimming sea turtle
Go here to learn more about the workshop recording and what we covered during it.
You can also watch the video below for some highlights of the workshop.
Travel Tips
Tip #1: Bubble
Anyone who has been through my Protect & Clear workshop, or done Clairvoyant Coaching with me, knows about the protective bubble. I put this up proactively before I start my day, but it’s extra important when traveling.
The gist of it is this: visualize your own energy coming out of your body and pushing out around you until it forms bubble. The edge of it should be thick and clear, like plexi-glass. This will keep your energy in and others’ energy out (btw, if you want the step-by-step visualization for this, get the Intro to Clairvoyance recording – we walk through it in more detail).
This tool has helped me immensely in my work as a psychic and an energy healer, too. It lets me do my work without having anything come into my space that was not invited.
Tip 2: Plane flight calm
Another thing you can do for calm is on the plane flight.
I recommend listening to some calming music on noise-cancelling headphones. I also do a grounding meditation while I’m listening. You can go further and visualize yourself floating on waves or the clouds.
This practice helps me feel really at peace, in recharge mode, and like I’m the only one on the plane. (Hint, hint: You can also listen to the grounding meditation in that Intro to Clairvoyance recording).
Tip 3: Nature and Alone Time
You can always take a solitary walk or sightsee around your place of lodging. When you get out in fresh air and really pay attention to your surroundings (aka no phone), it helps reset your energy levels and is proven to help you feel more happy and connected to the world around you. *
I often enjoy going in the morning before any obligations. There’s something peaceful about exploring before most of the world is out.
Tip 4: Spin up the Energy
When I’m feeling fatigued, cloudy-headed, or worn out, I like to do a quick refresh of my own energy. You can do this, too, by visualizing all your chakras spinning out the old energy, like a disc. If you want the full meditation, you can get that in the RESTORE mini-course. It’s got an incredible Chakra Activation and clearing.
Tip 5: Use your Intuition
My final tip is this: use your inner authority to tell you when to take breaks or how late to stay out with everyone. The better you know your own body and the signals it sends you, the easier it will be to say, “no” or “I need to sit this one out” or “I’m heading back to the hotel.” (Learn how to strengthen your inner authority and decision-making skills that will guide you in the toughest of situations in the RESTORE mini-course).
Why your Energy Depletes Faster
It’s important to remember that your energy gets depleted even faster when you’re in an environment you aren’t familiar with, around lots of people, making decisions, problem-solving, or learning new things.
If you think about your Root Chakra being your foundation (like a tree root), this can get off balance when you don’t have:
- your normal routine
- nourishing food to eat
- go-to items/conveniences that you are used to having at your home
It’s no wonder that your digestive system can go haywire, your energy gets depleted, and you may feel off-kilter after several days of traveling. It can even cause your immune system to weaken, which could make you sick.
I was on a flight yesterday with people open-mouth coughing. Luckily, when you maintain and clear your energy often, your immune system can fight off sickness easier.
Tip #6: Schedule an Energy Clearing
Of course, the best way to refresh your energy is to email/call/text me and I’ll do a 20-minute Energy Clearing for you. These are always done long-distance.
The way it works is: you go about your day and I’ll do the clearing remotely and then send you an audio message afterwards. You’ll feel refreshed and like yourself again. This costs $40.
You can even schedule this while you are in the middle of traveling! You can learn more about energy clearings here.
“[After my Energy Clearing], I have been feeling much better. I don’t feel as angry anymore. I am now looking towards the positive in each day, instead of dwelling on the negatives.” – A.

“Wow, this meditation brought some much needed and, dare I say, bad@$$ relief! Not only did I meet my throat chakra, but she was a warrior, and she stood strong and tall, and she was very brave. [In the meditation], she courageously said and did what she has been yearning to but not knowing how to do for so long.” – C
“[During the meditation], my dad and mom both showed up. But then my middle school track coach, who I actually really liked, showed up. He told me ‘you are a lot better at things than you think you are.’ I guess it was related to not getting picked for many of the track sports.” – E
“My chakra was dripping wet – subdued, skinny, frail. I was not able to identify the 3 people although I still thanked them and released them. The only word that I kept feeling was “Love”. I also did get a slight sense of writing more and speaking less. I am incredibly outspoken and don’t usually hold back my words – unless I’m really angry and then I do because I don’t want to say something I’ll regret later – so maybe that’s the point – learning how to still say the words in a better delivery.” – M
