Today I’m going to give you a short visualization exercise to help when you are a bit unsteady.
The Mountain Visualization
One of my favorite analogies for finding calm in chaos is of the mountain.
Think of a mountain you know.
Now, sit up tall and dignified, just as a mountain does.
Imagine for a moment you are that mountain. See the sun rising over you, feeling warm on your skin, and then setting on your other side. See the moon and the stars overhead. Feel wind, rain, lightning and thunder. Find wildflowers blooming and trees sprouting then changing color. See dried leaves dropping from trees. Feel the snow falling and building on you as the mountain. Notice people and animals walking around on top of you.
Through all this, you stay still. Calm and peaceful, knowing nothing can bother you, because you are a mountain. You will always be sturdy despite what’s going on around you.
This a way to approach life. Through change, through difficult times, and even through good days. As a mountain, you are strong in yourself and do not bend to chaos around you. You take your life in stride and make calculated, rooted decisions.

Incorporate it into Your Life
One way to start your day feeling strong like this is by doing a 5-minute grounding mediation. <Email me if you want access to my Grounding Meditation. It really does change lives.>
