Tools for Emotional Overload

Have you ever felt on the verge of exploding? Like if one more thing happened, you were going to lose it completely?

For several weeks, I was in that place.

I was in a heightened state of stress, despair, and fatigue. The worst part about it, though, was the shame that came with it. Because friends and clients noticed (and told me) that something seemed off with me.

I tried using all my tools to find relief, like talking it out, journaling, clearing my chakras, connecting with my spirit guides…but nothing was working. I kept saying to myself, “I’m a healer! I have divine guidance! Why can’t I do this?!”

Thank goodness for my friend who suggested a way through it.

The solution? Tune into my anger.

Most people are scared to admit that they are angry. I was, too. Anger is considered a “bad” emotion. But we all have it. And the more we suppress that anger, the less connected we are to ourselves and the world.

My anger was masking my sadness, fears, and other deep emotions about my current life transitions. Instead of my normal grounded feeling, I was like an overfilled water balloon. My body was bloated, I was crying constantly, and my head was too foggy to do much of anything.

It’s a big reason why you haven’t heard from me in weeks. I just couldn’t get past the muck to write this newsletter.

But once I released my anger, I was able to use my normal healing tools to get back on my path. I’m taking inspired action towards my goals and feeling so much lighter in general. People have noticed I’m bubbly and smiley again.

But I would not have gotten there without prying up the emotional chaosfirst. Only then could I figure out what I needed to do to find acceptance, peace, and motivation.

You might be reading this and saying, “Tune into my anger? Easier said than done!”

Yeah, I get it. That’s why I put together some specific tools for you to release several layers at once, including the anger. And you DON’T need to go yell or punch someone to let it go.

I’ll walk you through some healthy, peaceful ways of release, plus steps to tune into the layers underneath.
